6/08  The lower body had everything  removed and is ready to work on.   Modifications will need to be made so the drive sprockets  are  6" closer to the drivetrain to accomidate the shorter length tracks.

6/11 The lower body lip had a 1" wide .06 thick steel strip fiberglassed into the top side of it to add strength and to give the lip a even edge.

7/07 The lower body has been sanded and filled in areas where needed and is ready for epoxy primer. The original drive axle holes were fiberglassed over and new holes were added 6" back.

7/24 The lower body had epoxy primer sprayed, was filled with glazing putty where needed, a thin layer of primer surfacer (grey) sprayed and wet sanded. The decals have also arrived. Next will be 3 coats of a thicker primer surfacer and block sand before paint.

8/10  A few weeks was needed to apply the thick layer of primer surfacer, block sand, and reapply epoxy primer. Another wet sand and the metallic orange was sprayed. Now the black stripes will be added with decals before clear coat.

8/24 The black stripes were added with decals. 4 coats of clear coat were added. The body was then color sanded and buffed.  It looks real nice in the sun with the metal flake in the orange color.  The body work is now done for the lower half.

The lower body is finished. Now working on the suspension and tracks.
