• Engine CCW KEC400 (same as john deere JDX6)

Note: the engine specs listed are based on my testing and gave the best results. After hard drving the machine overheating was a  issue. Carburator tuning, spark plug adjustments, and switching from synthetic 2 stroke oil to conventional took care of the problem.

 Timing - .009" btdc (make sure to oil the felt!)

Points gap - .014"

Plug - NGK B9HS  .035" gap (wider gap than called for)

Fuel - premium grade 20:1 ratio with standard 2 cycle oil

Parts are still available for these transmissions.                There are no other regular adjustments required.
